From 23 May to 15 June 2009 I represent at 1908 Gallery / 1 Angel Kanchev Str., Sofia, Bulgaria / my project "Identity Lost" – 33 paintings, collages, digital print on canvas, objects and installations created between 2008 – 2009.
"Identity Lost" is a combination of different media, such as the events which it describes. These are events which reflect my personal life and the time which it goes through.
This is a story of a young man who wanders between the reality he lives in and the reality which he creates as an artist.
This is a story about a progress and a falling of a man who is in a constant conflict with himself, a man who had lost his identity in that baffling time.
Finally, I put myself in the centre of each of my interpretations, rift betwen my personal "I" and the surrounding world.

"You are involved… just like me"
I can calmly destroy the old image and rebel against today’s deception of the past, and I do it in my collages through rough and not so rough involvement.
All these freed visualizations appear as part of the ‘putting together’ process. After I damage and tear them apart, they serve as building materials for making the bigger picture against everything that blunts our perception.
This sudden shaking of our world is necessary for us not to lose the big ideas , a ‘Utopia’ and faith in everything that makes, and does not make sense in that which we are involved.
Full of irony and deliberately unclear in places, black humour together with stories, the collages are a legacy for the future. At the same time I am trying to penetrate to something much deeper, to make these characters into visual expressions of that in which I am involved.
Despite the difficulties which I have incorporated in them, behind them remains the idea of past, present and future in a manipulative reality - and its connection with the present political and economical global world changes in which we are all involved.
